The EA-5 features an all-new advanced audio sub-system built specifically for high-resolution audio performance in up to five zones simultaneously. For the most discerning customers, industry-leading professional-grade signal-to-noise ratio(115db) delivers the best audio performance in an home automation controller.
On-board is a new dual-core processor (2x faster than the HC-800), 5 audio outputs for multiple streams of audio (HDMI, 2xDigital Coax and 2xRCA analog), an integrated 5-port Ethernet Switch, 2.4/5 Ghz dual-band MIMO wifi, and external antennas ensure a solid, reliable Zigbee network to control smart devices throughout the home. USB and a new eSATA port provides an interface for connecting to local storage for music and movies.
